Defence Ticketing Policy

General

The Defence Ticketing program is The Navy’s Anchorage’s way of giving back to the Defence community, offering exclusive discounts and experiences to those who serve and have served.

Eligibility

Defence Ticketing membership is open to all ADF personnel, veterans, cadets, and APS workers. By signing up to the Defence Ticketing program, you confirm and agree that you fall within one of these categories.

At sign-up, members must provide their Service, base location, and state, along with a personal email address. defence.gov.au addresses are not accepted. These details are used to verify eligibility.

Compliance & Spot Checks

The Navy’s Anchorage conducts spot checks with the Defence Protected Network (DPN) and other relevant organisations, using the Service, base, and personal details provided at sign-up, to verify member eligibility and ensure compliance. Members found to be non-compliant will be removed from the Defence Ticketing program.

Privacy

Personal information collected at sign-up (Service, base location, state, and personal email) is used solely to administer the Defence Ticketing program and verify member eligibility, and is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and The Navy’s Anchorage’s privacy policy.

Liability

For offers, bookings, or discount codes where The Navy’s Anchorage acts solely as a facilitator and does not process payment on the member’s behalf, all arrangements are made directly between the member and the third-party vendor. The Navy’s Anchorage holds no liability for the quality, delivery, availability, or fulfilment of any such offer, and any disputes must be resolved directly with the relevant vendor.

Where The Navy’s Anchorage takes payment directly from the member (currently the Zoo Tickets program), The Navy’s Anchorage’s liability is limited to the value of the payment processed, except where liability cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

How Offers Are Shared

Offers for Defence Ticketing members are communicated via EDM, intranet news, base café screens, or the members-only Defence Ticketing page on The Navy’s Anchorage website. Base café screens are only accessible to Defence members and contractors working on base and are not open to the public.

Access to the members-only page requires a login and is available once your sign-up has been approved. Your login is personal to you and must not be shared. All offers, discount codes, and booking links on the members-only page, and all other communications, are intended solely for the named recipient and must not be shared, copied, screenshotted, or forwarded to external parties or non-members.

Vendor Discount Codes

Code redemption is monitored between the vendor and The Navy’s Anchorage. Discount codes, including those shown on the members-only page, are for Defence Ticketing members only. Sharing a code outside our network may result in the individual member losing access to the program, and the vendor reserves the right to cancel the offer for all members in cases of misuse.

Booking Links

Booking links provided for Defence Ticketing offers, including those shown on the members-only page, are monitored between the vendor and The Navy’s Anchorage. Links are for Defence Ticketing members only and must not be shared, forwarded, copied, screenshotted, or posted outside our network. Sharing a booking link with non-members may result in the individual member losing access to the program, and the vendor reserves the right to cancel the offer for all members in cases of misuse.

Zoo Tickets (Taronga Zoo & Western Plains Zoo)

Members must attend on the date they have booked. Passes are non-transferable and cannot be used by another member or shared with anyone else. Misuse (including attempting to attend on a different date or sharing) will result in entry being refused to the nominated member, loss of access for that member, and Taronga Zoo/Western Plains Zoo reserving the right to cancel the offer for all members in cases of misuse.

Program Changes & Cancellations

The Navy’s Anchorage reserves the right to amend program details, offers, or eligibility criteria with reasonable notice, and to withdraw or replace an offer where a vendor changes or ends their arrangement with us.
